Pad Thai is one of the most well-known and loved dishes of Thai cuisine, without which Thai cuisine would not be complete. Good, easy and quick to prepare and delicious both on weekdays and for Sunday lunch.

Preparation:

Boil the noodles according to the instructions on the package. Mix together the sauce ingredients.

Heat oil in a pan and brown the chicken strips in the oil. Add the Chinese cabbage, pepper and carrot strips and fry the whole pan for 1-2 minutes. Beat the egg, move the pan towards the edges and slide the egg into the center of the pan. Let it set quickly and then stir in the egg.

Also add the noodles and sauce to the pan. Heat through quickly. When serving, sprinkle with peanuts, chopped green onions and sprouts. Serve immediately.
